Enrolment
Enrolments are accepted on a weekly basis and to ensure placement in a particular level, an enrolment form should be downloaded from this site, filled in and submitted as early as possible.
Counselling and Welfare
The Academic Manager at AISE also acts as a counsellor to ensure that students enjoy maximum support in their time with us.
Our friendly Student Contact Officer will also be available to resolve problems relating to attendance, accommodation and personal issues.
Pre-Course Entry Assessment Policy
Each student is assessed individually and pre-course entry involves a Placement Test to ensure that they are placed in a course suitable to their English language proficiency.
Procedures for Class Placement
On arrival, students will complete a Placement Test to determine their English proficiency level.
This will be followed by an interview with the Academic Manager to assess listening and speaking abilities. After consultation with the teachers, the Academic Manager will place students in the appropriate class.
The Academic Manager and teachers will decide on the entry level of each student. However, the student will be able to discuss this with (a) the teacher and (b) the Academic Manager. The final decision will be based on a written test and an interview with the Academic Manager.
Students who feel they have been incorrectly placed need to make an appointment with the Academic Manager for a Placement Review.
